8 Undeniable Reasons Why Nashville Will Always Be Home

Nashville is cherished for its iconic status, rich history, vibrant arts scene, and deep-rooted community values.

If you call Nashville your home, whether a native or a townie transplant, Music City is sure to have a solid hold on your heart. We're in love with this place, and we've come up with eight reasons why Nashville will always be home - whether we adopted it or found ourselves lucky to be born here. Do you agree?

8. Our city is iconic.

To the southerners, to the northerners, midwestern folk and the crazies out there on the west coast. We're home to Loveless biscuits, the Ryman, a city loved by Johnny Cash and his wife June alike. It's hard to ever leave a place when it's become such a facet to the face of the United States.

7. We respect US history, because our city lived it.

Nashville is rife with historic homes and battlefields, a forever homage to one of the most radical points in our history.

6. Where else is church culture so prevalent...?

Everybody goes, because everybody cares. Or pretends to care. Anyway, church traffic is the real deal and the crack of a hymnal binding will take us home forever more.

5. Move over, New York - our skyline is killin' it.

Who needs to move anywhere else with a skyline like this outside your window...?

4. We have a deep love of family.

It's the south, after all. Family and friends are a big deal, and Nashville always puts them above the stresses of everyday life. Do a good job at work, then come home and love on your babies. It just makes sense.

3. Our sophisticated palate wouldn't allow us to eat hot chicken anywhere else.

Obviously not - born and bred in Nashville, the cayenne pepper runs in our VEINS.

2. Nashville is a community of artists.

Most folk can play one, if not two, instruments and the twang of a guitar ignites a fire in their hearts.

1. Our roots run deep.

When you're from a town that exudes a sense of southern pride, a place that bleeds deep community and loves to be friendly, it's hard to live anywhere else. Our roots run deep because we plant them deep.

We truly love this place. Check out some other neat stuff about Nashville, here!
