7. Mammoth Cave National Park

Did you know that the longest cave system in the world is just an hour and a half outside of Nashville? It's true, there are over 400 miles of cave to explore, so you'll definitely need to set aside the long weekend for this one.

6. Land Between The Lakes

This spot is appropriately named, as it's between Lake Barkley and Kentucky Lake on the Tennessee-Kentucky border. It's a National Recreation Area, making it the perfect spot to get out, relax, and enjoy nature.
