The Small Town In Rhode Island That’s One Of The Coolest In The U.S.

Rhode Island feels like one big small town in its entirety. That fact is unsurprising considering we have just over 30 cities and towns total! Somehow some amazing towns continue to go unrecognized for their super cool offerings. This one place in particular couldn't be a better example!

The town of Charlestown rests along Narragansett Bay in Washington County.

This charming town is filled to the brim with fantastic beaches and coastal attractions.

Charlestown is also home to other exciting attractions with The Fantastic Umbrella Factory at the top of the list.

This multifaceted place features vintage shops, gorgeous gardens, a cafe, and even live emus!

The town definitely wouldn't be quite as glorious without Burlingame State Park, one of the most stunning parks and deep woods camping sites in the state.

Charlestown also hosts a number of exciting festivals each summer including the Seafood Festival, and Rhythm and Roots. Be sure to stop in this summer for an unforgettable experience!
