Fall has officially arrived and Halloween is right around the corner (Yay!). Haunted hayrides are a great spooktacular event to enjoy the fall weather while experiencing the thrills of zombies, ghosts, goblins and even Sasquatch. Here are 3 haunted hayrides in the Sooner State that will scare you in the best way possible.
1. Harvest of Fear at At Reding Farm (Chickasha)
Every year the Reding Farm creates a haunted maize called The Harvest of Fear that is the largest corn maize in Oklahoma. Visitors can walk through the maize or they also offer a hayride through the maize, so you can experience the whole event, without walking. It will be open on Friday and Saturday nights from September 29 through October 28, 2017. The cost is $15 for the haunted hayride or $20 for walkers.Address: 614 Reding Road, Chickasha.
2. Haunted Castle Halloween Festival at The Castle of Muskogee (Muskogee)
The Castle of Muskogee is the largest haunted attraction in Oklahoma, featuring 62-acres of hair-raising thrills and scares. One of the attractions at this event is the hayride through the haunted Castle grounds. It's filled with scary characters, zombies and many terrifying moments. This event will be open Fridays and Saturdays
September 29 - October 28 from 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.
for ticket sales. The haunted hayride is $12 for adults and $8 for children.Address: 3400 West Fern Mountain Road, Muskogee.
3. Sasquatch Sightings Hayride at Arrowhead Stables (Canadian)
Arrowhead Stables features The Sasquatch Hayride through the woods looking for the mysterious Bigfoot. They offer two hayrides, one that is scary and one that is not. Take your pick out of the two and enjoy an exciting ride through the dark. The hayride is only $5 per rider and is open every Friday and Saturday in October from dark - 10 p.m. You can also sit around the campfire and roast marshmallows and get your picture taken with Bigfoot.
