The Castle of Muskogee's Haunted Castle Halloween Festival is one of the top Halloween events in the state. People travel from all over Oklahoma to visit the town of Muskogee for a good scare and eerie fun. This year, the seasonal festival runs from October 3 through November 1, 2025, and is open on Fridays and Saturdays only from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.

The Halloween village is quite large and features attractions for all levels of spookiness, so even the littles can come along for the fun. Admission to the Haunted Castle Halloween Festival, however, you can purchase individual attraction tickets, allowing you to build your own experience. Once you are inside the castle, you'll notice a pumpkin rating for each one that lets you know how haunted the attraction is. They are rated from one to five pumpkins, with one pumpkin being the least scary and five being the most frightening.

In all, there are 11 themed Halloween attractions. The entire family can enjoy the not-so-scary Haunted Hayride through the forest at night, try to find a way out of the Ultimate Maze and/or the Torture Chamber & Catacombs, take aim with a Monster Blaster with targets and obstacles, take a ride on the Spooky Express, and feel the magic of Halloween when walking along the Enchanted Boardwalk aglow with twinkling lights. For those who prefer more of a jump scare, brave the Domus Horrificus, Casa Morte, Jester’s Revenge, and the Trail of Blood attractions, which are as horrifying as they sound! And, yes, there's also food, entertainment, and a Halloween market.
