Located just a mile and a half off of State Route 32, you'll find this hidden gem that's truly unique.
Dogwood Pass is a small town in Ohio like no other. It started out as a haven among friends, but eventually it opened to the public.
The town features a saloon, jail, general store, bunk house, bath house, bank, freight office, gun shop, livery stable, an undertaker, a souvenir shop and more.
The saloon was the first of its buildings to be constructed, but it hardly feels modern. This town will transport you straight to the past.
You can tour this gorgeous spot on select dates, and you can even experience totally unique encounters in this area's old school atmosphere.
Horror at Dogwood Pass is an annually anticipated attraction, and it's spooky to the core. Like many Old West Towns, this reconstruction gets rather creepy as the sun goes down... but maybe that's because of the ghosts and monsters lurking in the shadows.
Inside the saloon, you'll find a cozy atmosphere, seating for 80 to 100 people and a large stage area.
Please note: The saloon does not sell alcohol, but BYOB is permitted for booked events.
Outside, you can even mine for gems on select dates. It's fun the whole family will love.
If you visit during the regular season, this is a coveted annual attraction. Discovery awaits!
The Roy Rogers Memory's Museum is a fairly new addition to the town.
The museum is a nod to a country singer that spent his youth in the area.
Inside, you'll find photos and other memorabilia that's sure to incite your inner Wild West.
The museum's former home was in Downtown Portsmouth. Upon relocating, Rogers' daughter made an appearance at the grand opening.
During the Old West Festivals and shows, you might even get to see a live shoot out or two.
The costumed actors are absolutely incredible at their craft. There's so much to see and do here!
