This Tiny Ohio Town Is The Grandest Winter Wonderland You’ll Ever Visit

This season, consider visiting the small town of Fremont, Ohio for some Christmas cheer. The county fairgrounds will light up the night with family fun and twinkling lights. The Sandusky County Fairgrounds Winter Wonderland is an annual tradition that spreads holiday magic in a big way for a small town. Take a look:

Now in its seventh year, this small town tradition has become a Sandusky County favorite during the holiday season.

You'll find it at 901 Rawson Ave., Fremont, OH 43420.

On select dates in December, the Sandusky County Fairgrounds are a winter wonderland for families to explore. You can visit December 6 - 9, 13 - 16 and 20 - 21.

The display is drive-thru only on Thursdays and Sundays from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. and on December 21.

Local businesses and community organizations sponsor and display the holiday scenes and lights that make the fairgrounds so magical this time of year.

On Fridays and Saturdays, you can walk through the displays from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.

Admission is just $1 and children under the age of 12 are free. In addition to taking in the magic of the lights, there are plenty of other fun activities featured here on the weekends, such as barrel train rides.

You'll also find live music, popcorn, hot chocolate, cookies and more.

There are even horse rides, an annual craft show and other kids crafts and games.
