This holiday season, consider boarding the Hocking Valley Scenic Railway's Santa Train. Travel to the "North Pole", enjoy the scenic Hocking Valley and even meet Santa himself.

Trains will depart the Nelsonville Depot for a round-trip to East Logan. The Nelsonville Depot is located at 33 W Canal St., Nelsonville, OH 45764.

Starting November 24 until December 16, the Santa Train will run each Saturday and Sunday.

The trains will depart at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday. There are also two Friday evening trains on December 7 and December 14, which depart at 6 p.m.

This family friendly train ride is the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit, and the ride lasts approximately 2 hours.

(Cross your fingers for snow, because the experience is even more magical when it snows, of course!)

The cozy, heated train will play all your favorite Christmas songs as Santa visits each child individually throughout the ride.

Be sure to bring your wish list, as Santa will want to know what the little ones want this year.

Tickets for this popular train ride sell out fast each year, so be sure to purchase your tickets as soon as possible.

Tickets are $18 per adult and $14 per child ages 3 - 12. To purchase tickets, click here.
