Chances are good you've never heard of the little town of Naples. This small town in New York has a population of less than 3,000. This little gem is tucked away in Ontario County and feels like the type of place where time stands still. At first glance, you likely think not a lot is going on in this tiny community. It may come as a surprise to you, then, that Naples has pie that's known around the world. The town is home to Monica's Pies, an award-winning pie shop that's been featured on the Food Network. But pies aren't the only sweet treat you can pick up in Naples. There's plenty more sugary delights to be had in this small town in New York!
The Finger Lakes region is well-known for producing some fantastic wines, but the grapes that make those wines can be used for other products as well. Local baker Monica Schenk is known as the Grape Pie Queen for her amazing pies made with locally-grown Concord grapes.
You can get other varieties of pie here too, but we recommend that you stick with the grape for a true Naples experience.

One last place you'll want to make sure to check out while on this fun day trip in New York is The Olde Country Store - 1849. It's technically right outside of Naples, but is definitely worth a stop. This old-style general store serves up nostalgic candy, baked goods, and more.
