There are more than 32 miles of cave that stretch underground at Cumberland Caverns, open year round for your enjoyment and exploration.
The caverns were formed out of Mississippian Monteagle limestone, on the western edge of the Cumberland Plateau. As you trek through the mountainous underbelly of Tennessee you'll find cave pearls, stalagmites and stalactites, white gypsum snow as well as gypsum flowers.
You can book a tour through the cave - there are multiple available, depending on your attending party - and will have the chance to walk through the largest show cave in Tennessee.
Home to the Cumberland Caverns Live, you can visit the for a show in the Volcano Room located 333 feet below ground.
