These 11 towns are so beautiful, it's like they're made for a postcard. From main streets to waterfronts, these towns are without a doubt some of the most quaint and picturesque you'll ever see.
1. Lanesboro
This B&B Capital sits on the always gorgeous Root River, and has one of the most beautiful main streets you'll find.
2. Henderson
This historic town is one of the most quaint in MN and a visit feels like stepping back in time! Their main street is picture perfect!
3. New Ulm
Hermann the German reigns over this small cultural town. From the architecture to the fun atmosphere, New Ulm is one of the best places to go on a weekend getaway.
4. Hastings
This beautiful town has a quaint feel and access to the Vermillion River and the Mississippi River.
5. Nisswa
This beautiful town is the perfect place for people with a sweet tooth and has some of MN's favorite shopping and coffee. And just wait until you see it in the daytime!
6. Pipestone
Surrounded by beautiful rock formations and home to the world's largest Peace Pipe, Pipestone has a few decor tricks up their sleeve.
7. Red Wing
This Mississippi River town is nationally recognized for its history and beauty and a stroll down its main street will make you fall in love with its small town charm. They are home to Red Wing Boots & stunning Mississippi bluffs for the adventurous.
8. Northfield
The town of "cows, colleges, and contentment" is gorgeous with a fan-favorite downtown and beautiful college campuses. Not to mention the scenic Cannon River.
9. Houston
This unbelievably pretty Root River Valley town is surrounded by "The Mountains of Minnesota" and always photo ready.
10. Lake City
The birthplace of waterskiing is on massive Lake Pepin, Lake City has some of the best waterfront views in the entire state.
11. Lindstrom
America's Little Sweden is a beautiful town in a sea of lakes. With an adorable downtown and scenery on every side, it doesn't get much better than this.
