Did you know that Maryland is full of scenic places to drive around? Check out this eastern shore road that makes for a short but sweet adventure. Hop in the car and prepare for a whole lot of simplistic beauty.
Today we're exploring Maryland Route-363, which is also known as Deal Island Road. The road begins near downtown Princess Anne and stretches for 18-miles (about 30-minutes) to the tip of Deal Island.
At first, you'll encounter plenty of sprawling farmland...
...and woodland roads, too.
Soon, you'll be greeted with serene wetland views that seem to stretch on forever.
While in this particular area, you may want to stop by Deal Island Wildlife Management Area. There is so much to explore and it's all so dreamy.
This spot is also full of wildlife, so keep your eyes peeled!
Then, the sights only get better as you continue your journey and cross the bridge. You can't help but admire the water views on either side.
If you're hungry by the end of your trip, stop by Arby's Dockside Bar and Grill.
Or simply pull to the side of the road and take some pictures.
This area is incredibly photogenic.
