The Tiny Town In Kansas That’s Full Of Unexpected Wonders

Of course, it's possible that we miss a town here or there that's simply amazing, but once we find one, we love to share it with the world. This absolutely tiny town has been hiding right under our noses this whole time. You won't believe what unexpected wonders are right here in small town, Kansas.
The tiny town of Wilmore sits in Comanche County, where it's been since the late 1880s.
It was named after the first merchant to arrive here, a man named Thomas Wilmore. We don't know much about him, but the town has been through a lot since it started. Wilmore had a population of more than 200 back in the 1930s, but today you'll only find that about 50 people live in town.
However, after a little bit of exploring, you'll find that there's plenty of character hiding in this tiny town.
"Follow the yellow brick road..."
All of a sudden, what seems like a normal town is full of wonder.
You'll discover that within this town is a beautiful carousel with a nearby sign that says "Honk for a ride."
The ceilings are painted with scenic views, and covered in familiar lights from your childhood memories.
Just looking at it, you can almost hear the music and feel yourself spinning.
The horses are well kept by the couple that maintains the carousel, and it still runs for anyone who asks nicely.
It's worth taking the kids out for a day and exploring the hidden wonders of this little town.
