When you think of county roads in the state of Indiana, there are a few things that come to mind. First, you have the actual county roads. Next, you have dusty or dirty roads in the middle of nowhere. Third, you just have roads away from cities and houses. What do all these roads have in common? Well, they provide you with a beautiful scenic experience as you are driving from point A to point B. We did a little digging and found some pretty scenic drives and pictures for your viewing pleasure! Here are some of the best scenic drives in Indiana:
1. Bowsher Ford is a beautiful covered bridge that has celebrated its 100th birthday in recent years.
The bridge is still open to traffic, making it a beautiful scenic experience and one of the best Indiana scenic drives.
2. The West Union Covered Bridge stretches across Sugar Creek and is located in Parke County, much like Bowsher Ford. Another beautiful drive to take!

3. This little road is located near Wolf Lake and is going to take you right to the Merry Lea Environmental Center.
This is one of the loveliest scenic byways in Indiana!
4. This winding road is going to take you on a scenic drive through the Brown County State Park. We don’t know about you, but We think this would be a great place to go as the fall season sets in!

5. This is Indiana SR 62. Some say it's a bit of a challenging road to navigate, but it offers a beautiful driving experience through both Crawford and Harrison Counties.
6. This picture was taken near the Johnson County Line. This is where SR 37 meets Wicker Road and Bluff Road.
7. This is IN-26, near Trenton. The Jay-Blackford County Line is another impressive scenic drive if you're on the hunt for "scenic drives near me."
8. This is Interstate 69, looking west from Harmony Road.
We had to include this picture because you really can’t go on a scenic drive in Indiana without seeing some kind of construction somewhere, so think of it as a primer for what you'll see out there.
9. Here is the I-69/SR445 Interchange in Greene County. Look at all the greenery! Maybe that's why it's called GREENe County! Okay... we'll stop.
10. This is a picture of Bradford Woods in Morgan County. Keep in mind, this is a private park for invited guests only. The photographer who took the pictures didn’t realize this until after she snapped some photos.
11. This “old road”, as the photographer calls it, is located somewhere in Jennings County. Stunning!
12. We felt like this list wouldn’t be complete with at least one toll road! This one can be found near Fremont.
