It’s Impossible Not To Love The Most Eccentric Town In Georgia

Serenbe is an intentional community in Georgia known for its focus on sustainability, community, and connection to nature.

What would you say if we told you there was an eccentric, unconventional, yet highly coveted small town in Georgia unlike anything you've ever seen before? A sort of "utopia" it has been called by the New York Times. We recently wrote about the incredible restaurant that is located within the community: There’s A Restaurant On This Remote Georgia Farm You’ll Want To Visit. This community puts their residents first, in order to reduce the stresses of daily life and improve overall health and happiness for each family. Sounds like a dream, right? It is, and it is called Serenbe.

Serenbe is an intentional community outside of Atlanta that the New York Times dubbed "a utopian experiment".

With a focus on community and togetherness, this eccentric town was founded originally to protect the stunning rural landscape known as the Chattahoochee Hill Country.

In 2004, Serenbe started with one house, and now more than 400 residents who call it home.

Numerous awards for development and sustainability have been presented to Serenbe over the years.

Specific values are honored at Serenbe including nature, passion, creativity and community.

Serenbe promotes that people can live more fully when they are connected to the wonder of nature.

Serenbe has tons of activities, events and things to-do throughout the year.

Farmer's Markets are a seasonal highlight, with coveted fruit and vegetables from the local organic farms.

Adult yoga retreats bring together people who hope to find peace, serenity, and mindfulness within their day-to-day lives.

Plus, you will find a playhouse, film center, and interactive dance performances with art installations.

Don't forget about the delicious, award-winning restaurants which serve up nothing but culinary genius.

It is no wonder this whimsical, out-of-the-ordinary town is such a hidden gem within the hills of Georgia.
