Forsyth Park is a large and beautiful 30-acre park in the historic district of Savannah, Georgia, and it's perfect for your next day trip. The park is nearly 200 years old and is the oldest public park in Savannah. The park contains fountains, walking paths, playgrounds, tennis courts, and basketball courts, among many other areas, making it a perfect place to spend a day participating in all the wonderful activities available.
This fountain is one of the more famous aspects of Forsyth Park and Savannah, Georgia. While it appears quite unique, the same fountains can be found in Paris, France, and Cusco, Peru!
The long and wide sidewalks allow for a perfect stroll through the oak tree-covered grounds. There is also a garden for the blind here, which contains especially fragrant varieties of plants.
