Enjoy A Magical Polar Express Train Ride Aboard The North Pole Express In Florida

Whether you're ready or not, the holiday season is fast approaching. We've been looking for the most incredible holiday experiences for families in the Sunshine State, and there's one that really stands out. What could be more magical than a polar express train ride in Florida!

Unfortunately, these tickets usually sell out soon after they go up for sale in the summer, but now that you know about it, you can mark your calendar and make sure you get your seats next year. All aboard the North Pole Express! This magical experience is hosted by the Florida Railroad Museum and begins at the Parrish railroad station. The train departs on select evenings throughout the month of December.

Although these tickets usually sell out months before the event, you can still wait at the station and hope for a cancellation. There are no guarantees, obviously, but if any tickets are still unclaimed 20 minutes before the ride, they are sold to standby guests (seating and prices vary).

Tickets range from $24.50 to $59.50, depending on dates and which car you choose. The caboose can be rented for up to 16 people with one flat charge. During the 30-minute ride to the North Pole, carolers walk the aisles, singing your favorite Christmas songs.

Once you arrive at the North Pole, your family can enjoy the lights and decorations, unlimted hot chocolate and cookies, a model train display, and arts and crafts.

Families can even purchase s'mores kits to cook together over the campfires. Dinner options are also available for hungry guests.

Don't forget the most magical part! The train will not depart until every child gets to meet Santa and tell him what they want for Christmas this year.
