So whether you're planning to visit these in the afternoon or take a daring midnight adventure, you're sure to have fun! Grab some friends and gas up the car, because you're in for one epically spooky night.
1. Union Cemetery (Easton)
Ed and Lorraine Warren wrote a book about the haunting at this cemetery, said to be one of the most demonic burial grounds in America. Beware of the White Lady, said to make nightly appearances as she walks through the graves and stands in the road to scare drivers. A visit to this haunted Connecticut cemetery is not for the faint of heart!
2. Saw Mill City Road (Shelton)
Are you afraid of the melon heads? Drive down this haunted road, said to be haunted by mutant beings. Rumor has it you can hear them breathing if you roll down the windows. Be careful around the curves too, as they might jump out and surprise! Do you dare drive down this haunted Connecticut road?
3. Sterling Opera House (Derby)
If you're looking for abandoned places in CT, the Sterling Opera House is a good one. Recently refinished on the outside, the inside has still been abandoned for decades. The hidden jail cells under the stage once held a serial killer, just feet beneath performances by Harry Houdini. This place is just eerie.

4. Gunntown Cemetery (Naugatuck)
If you're looking for "haunted places near me," check out this haunted Connecticut cemetery. Established in 1790, this place is home to members of both sides of the revolution. But there are a lot of restless spirits, with claims ranging from the laughter of children to a man atop a horse. You should definitely bring your flashlight!

5. Snake Meadow Hill Road (Sterling)
Another haunted Connecticut road you just have to try! Folks have been arguing for years about whether this is really science at work or an angry witch haunting the road. Put your car in neutral on this road and it will be pulled uphill. That's right. It will actually start rolling the wrong way!
6. Seaside Sanatorium (Waterford)
The rumor mill surrounding this place is likened to Shutter Island. The abandoned medical facility lays in ruins now, but it once treated children with tuberculosis. However, it's gained a reputation over the years for being haunted and it's definitely the eeriest oceanfront location you'll ever see. If you're brave enough to visit, that is.
This is one of the spookiest haunted places in CT.
