10 Main Streets In Colorado That Are Pure Magic During Christmastime

Discover 10 charming Colorado towns with magical Christmas light displays and festive events.

Christmastime is here, and small towns and big cities alike are decked out in beautiful lights and festive decor! Personally, my favorite light displays are those that light up the historic main streets of America, which include these 10 magical roads right here in Colorado:

1. Georgetown

Not only does the City of Georgetown have a beautifully lit downtown area, they also have a fabulous Christmas Market that has been delighting Coloradoans for 56 years.

2. Grand Lake

The weather outside maybe frightful, but taking a stroll along Grand Lake's planked-lined main street is truly delightful!

3. Manitou Springs

It doesn't get more magical than Manitou; a picturesque small town with a stunning landscape and equally gorgeous Christmas lights!

4. Limon

What this Eastern Plains town lacks in size, it makes up for with its impressive Hall of Trees exhibit and dazzling Parade of Lights.

5. Vail

As per their city website: "The setting is classic: snow drifts lay on the rooftops of Vail’s Village and Lionshead while the warm glow of lampposts light the cobbled streets. Pine garlands, red bows and strings of lights festoon the ice skating rinks and Alpine chalets and – to top it off – we’ve created daily activities and events to help you and your family celebrate the season." Sounds great to us!

6. Sterling

During this magical season, the historic northeastern town of Sterling comes to life with traditional holiday events and beautifully adorned businesses and homes.

7. Pagosa Springs

Welcome to my definition of heaven on earth: soaking in a hot and luxurious mineral pool whilst surrounded by lights galore and gently falling snow... Ahh!

8. Fort Collins

No, this isn't the setting of a fairy tale; it is actually Fort Collins's remarkable downtown area, which pulls out all the stops this time of year.

9. Pueblo

Not only can see Santa and enjoy traditional festivities at the Pueblo Riverwalk, you can also do all of your Christmas shopping in just one place! (Now that's what I call a win/win.)

10. Aspen

Memories just waiting to be made await you in Aspen, which features not only brilliant decor along its main roads, but also 12 Days of Christmas and events!

Now that we have visited the best Christmas Main Streets in Colorado, it is time to take The Magical Road Trip That Will Take You Through Colorado’s Most Charming Christmas Towns.
