1. Green Valley Falls
Our first stop of the day is at this hidden gem in SoCal that is a bit of an insider secret. To reach Green Valley Falls, you'll take a short hike along a half-mile trail for a glimpse of this refreshing waterfall in Cuyamaca State Park. Soak up the scenery and stop to enjoy the view before we head to our next location.
2. Cedar Creek Falls
Your next stop is Cedar Creek Falls, which is approximately a one-hour drive from Green Valley Falls. To reach this breathtaking waterfall you'll have a bit of hike to take - approximately four miles - to experience this beauty in Southern California.
Although the hike can be challenging, especially when the sun is out in full force, the payoff is well worth it. This hike is hard for many people so make sure you're fully prepared before heading out on the trail. And make sure to pack plenty of water as you will get thirsty, especially during the summer months!
Now that we've spent some time outside in nature at two of our favorite waterfalls, let's visit some of the top wineries in the area for great wine and stunning views!

3. Our first winery stop is at Turtle Rock Ridge!
You'll find a variety of red and white wines to choose from at this local winery that is situated in the beautiful countryside of San Diego county. Kick back and relax and enjoy the view!
4. Ramona Ranch Vineyard and Winery
Our next stop is Ramona Ranch Vineyard and Winery. Known for its award-winning wines and serene setting that is a true outdoor oasis, this is one spot where you'll want to order a glass of wine and relax and unwind after a long day of exploring.
Located on a 110-acre vineyard, our final stop is a stunning setting to end this epic day of wine and waterfalls. If you still have some energy leftover you can stroll through the vineyard and wander through the grapevines. Or just relax in the natural setting and sip and sample a few wines.
