We recently discussed cozy cabins that make your stay a delight, and that led us to think about all the great places to visit in Arkansas in the fall. Nothing says fall is here like gorgeous foliage, crisp weather that’s perfect for exploring both natural beauty and manufactured wonders, and a comfy spot where you can take shelter from the nip in the air. These 10 places offer all of that, and so much more.
1. Sleep on top of the world at the lodge on Mount Magazine.
You don’t have to make Mount Magazine a drive and stop adventure—you can gaze at the gorgeous fall foliage, eat at the fantastic lodge restaurant, and cuddle up for the night right on top of the mountain for one of the most surreal fall getaways in Arkansas.
2. Stay in at the Lookout Point Lakeside Inn in Hot Springs.
This bed and breakfast is a Hot Springs favorite, both for its cozy atmosphere and gorgeous views of Lake Hamilton. There’s no better time than the fall to stay in this lakeside retreat, where you'll be met with a kaleidoscope of color everywhere you look.
