No article about Arizona road trips is complete without mentioning the incredible Route 66. This road trip will take you from one end of the state to the other, all while seeing some of Arizona's best known attractions!
6. Travel This Overnight Ghost Town Road Trip
Our most popular article from 2016 highlighted this haunting road trip through a portion of southeastern Arizona's old and abandoned mining towns. Many of these towns had violent histories that helped secure the status of Arizona Territory as the Wild West and it's possible that some ghosts continue to linger in the remains. Each town still exists in varying degrees and each is open to exploration.
