5. Winterfest – Talkeetna

The month of December is awfully dark, but the tight knit community of Talkeetna knows how to combat all those winter blues with their month-long Winterfest celebration. Other fun activities include bazaars, holiday gift shows and a Festival of Lights variety show which mainly happen during the weekends.
