This fall train ride in Alabama will take you through the beautiful forests of Shelby County.

The Pumpkin Patch Express is scheduled to run every Saturday and Sunday in October 2019, lasting approximately 1.5 hours.

The ticket prices are as follows: Coach-Adult (ages 12 and up) is $17, Coach-Child (ages 2-11) is $14 and Coach-Infant (under age 2) is free. You can also upgrade to a caboose ticket ($25) or locomotive ticket ($35).

Once you arrive at the Pumpkin Patch, lots of fun awaits you.

A few of these fun things include the Great Pumpkin, a hayride and an inflatable bounce house. It's easy to see why people call this the best pumpkin patch in Alabama.

With so many pumpkins scattered throughout the patch, it'll be quite challenging to choose the perfect one. However, there's no doubt that it'll be a fun and memorable experience.

Refreshments may be purchased at the Gift Shop and at the Meadow. Because food and drinks aren't allowed on the train, all refreshments must be finished before leaving.

Only cash is accepted for purchases at the Meadow.
