Orange Beach is a small town that's located on Alabama's beautiful Gulf Coast.
This coastal town was named after the oranges that were once grown here. Sadly, due to the hard-freezes of 1916, the orange groves no longer exist.
Recently, Orange Beach was named one of the best beach towns in the U.S. for summer. It's not surprising considering how beautiful the town is, especially the white-sand beaches.
Over the years, Orange Beach has become one of Alabama's top tourist spots. In addition to the town's beautiful beaches, it also offers a variety of places to visit and things to do. One place in particular is The Wharf.
The Wharf is an entertainment district featuring unique shops, restaurants, an arcade, a movie theater, a Ferris wheel, and more. There's something for everyone.
For something a bit more adventurous, Orange Beach also offers dolphin cruises. While aboard a specialty cruise boat, you'll get to see dolphins up close and watch as they swim and flip around in the Gulf Coast waters.
And finally, nothing beats a Gulf Coast sunset. The ones in Orange Beach are absolutely stunning!
