You Might Soon Be Able To Ride A Tram To The Hollywood Sign

If you’ve always dreamed of seeing the Hollywood sign up close, your chance might be coming soon.

While the Hollywood sign in Los Angeles is one of the most iconic sights in the world, residents who live in the Hollywood Hills don’t appreciate all the tourists who flock to the sign on foot and take up valuable residential parking.

Now, Warner Bros. is proposing to solve the problem by building a $100 aerial tram straight to the sign.

The tramway would take visitors on a six-minute journey around the back of Mt. Lee and to a new visitors center near the sign. There, guests would be able to walk on paths to a viewing area.

Warner Bros. would charge admission for the tramway and split the profits with the city of Los Angeles.

While the plans for the tramway haven’t been approved yet, this would be an awesome way to get a taste of the high life in Hollywood.
