Getting Into Disney’s Star Wars Land Will Actually Require Reservations
The opening of Disney’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge has been eagerly awaited for months, but news has just dropped that visiting the buzzed-about attraction will require you to book in advance.
Though the opportunity to check out Galaxy’s Edge will still be included in the cost of a standard admission ticket to the iconic Califonia park, Disneyland has announced that from May 31 to June 23, 2019, guests will need to make a free reservation to enter Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
This requirement is presumably because of the extreme attention and excitement surrounding the new attraction, as Disney has stated that guests visiting the park after June 24, 2019 won’t be required to make advance bookings. Additionally, all guests staying at a Disneyland Hotel within the first month of the attraction’s opening will automatically receive designated reservations to visit the new park area.
There is good news if you’re planning on checking out Galaxy’s Edge at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida when it opens there on August 29, 2019 – visitors to that park won’t need additional reservations and can check out the attraction as soon as it opens.
