How Much You Travel Could Be Linked To How Often You Eat Breakfast
Do you like to start your day with a huge feast or prefer to skip breakfast? One study suggests that traveling might influence your habits.
A survey of 1,507 from Hyatt Place found that people who travel frequently – that is, at least six times a year – are more likely to eat breakfast three or more days a week.
In fact, 63 percent of these frequent travelers break their fast on at least three days of the week, compared to just 45 percent of people who travel five or fewer times per year. Additionally, 49 percent of frequent travelers say that they’re more likely to eat breakfast while traveling than at home.
That may be because vacations and business trips may afford more time and opportunity to indulge in a leisurely brunch or free hotel breakfast. The Hyatt Place survey found that many travelers actually choose their hotel based on whether or not breakfast is included in the price of their stay.
