Zoo Lights In Texas Has An Adults-Only Night This Holiday Season With Wine And Beer
Zoo Lights is one of the most anticipated holiday events in Texas, and it’s getting a boozy makeover this year. On January 9, an ugly sweater event allows adults to enjoy a free drink while sporting their most ridiculously festive attire. Tickets are on sale already, and they’re going fast!
Through January 12, Zoo Lights enchants Houstonians and tourists alike with its breathtaking displays. Immediately upon entering, you'll stand in awe at a grove of ancient oak trees wrapped in glittering bulbs.
A 100-foot long tunnel illuminates the entire walkway. A 4-D enchanted forest, ice throne, and s'more making station are just a few of the many immersive features.
Despite the zoo animals being fast asleep, lighted scenes depicting all your favorite critters lie in wait around every corner. Kids from one to ninety-two will be enchanted by this whimsical touch.
All sorts of creatures spread holiday cheer to everyone who walks past. Grab a piping hot mug of cocoa, snap some pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus, and get up-close-and-personal with all their smiling faces.
On January 9, Ugly Sweater Night lets those 21 and up get at least one use out of a present that may have otherwise been stashed away forever. The event lasts from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. and includes one free drink for each person.
