I don’t know about you, but I have a HUGE sweet tooth. And when a craving strikes, not just anything will suffice. It has to be rich, decadent, fresh, and made with real sugar and cream. The smell alone has to remind me of holidays at Grandma’s house. Luckily, a dessert like that isn’t too hard to find here in Texas – all you have to do is drive to the nearest small town and hit up a family-owned cafe. One of the very best is the famous Blue Bonnet Cafe in Marble Falls. People come from all over the state to indulge in their pie because it’s simply delicious. If you’re ever in the hill country, this is a restaurant you absolutely can’t pass up.
