There’s A Scuba Park Hiding In Texas That’s Perfect For Your Next Adventure
Texas is brimming with all sorts of fun adventures. From awesome tree-top activities to underwater caves and giant magical grottos, the Lone Star State never disappoints when it comes to epic outdoor fun – but we bet y’all didn’t know there’s a scuba park right here in our state!
There's a spring-fed, clear, warm water lake, 11 diving docks, equipment rental, specialty night diving and treasure hunt excursions, training courses, gear-rinse stations, and even a sand volleyball court!
The water has an average visibility of 35' and a depth of 20-35' - perfect conditions for awesome underwater adventures! Jets, shipwrecks, a party barge, and a DART bus are just some of the structures you'll be able to explore to put your newfound scuba skills to the test.
The first day is in the classroom, where you'll go over all the protocol and take tests to ensure your understanding of the information. Day two is pool training, and on days three and four, you're all on your own to prove yourself in four different dives. Upon completion, you'll receive a temporary certification card immediately and a permanent in two-three weeks.
