Texans come from all over to search for the infamous Bragg Light every October, but Saratoga isn’t the only town with a haunted street. Believe it or not, our state’s biggest metropolis is harboring a sinister secret that very few are aware of – and maybe that lack of knowledge is for the best. A drive down Patterson Road just might open the most malevolent Pandora’s Box there ever was.

Multiple theories exist about whose blood was shed during the wartime battle on Patterson Road. One suggests a pro-union German settlement was attacked by Confederate troops, while another blames two disorganized militias who fought until only a few men remained.
Today, the ghosts use all five senses to make their presence known. From apparitions standing on the roadside to spectral hands gently tapping on passing cars, there's no mistaking what you'll experience here for anything but paranormal activity.
Brave souls wishing to call on the spirits will simply stop their car on Langham Creek Bridge, turn off the headlights, and wait. Countless visitors have reported hearing what sounds like knuckles repeatedly striking the vehicle, almost as if to warn the passengers of impending danger.
Nobody can be certain whether the entities have malicious intent or not, but one thing is for sure - something otherworldly lurks in the shadows of Patterson Road. The only question is whether you're brave enough to face the darkness this Halloween.
