Served On Weekends Only, The Massive Mesquite-Smoked Ribs At Valentina’s Tex Mex BBQ In Texas Are Worth The Wait
Valentina’s Tex Mex BBQ in Austin is renowned for its weekend-only massive beef ribs and unique Tex-Mex BBQ fusion.
Often times, the best things in life are worth waiting for. That sentiment definitely rings true at Valentina's Tex Mex BBQ in Austin, where the most popular menu item is only served on weekends. If you love ribs, this family-owned restaurant belongs on your dining bucket list.
An unassuming Austin food truck, Valentina's Tex Mex BBQ is home to one of the most unique culinary fusions around.
You'll find the trailer on Menchaca Road, and it's open from 7:30 a.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday-Friday, and 7:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. Saturday-Sunday (or until sold out).
While everything on the menu is worth trying at least once, the beef ribs deserve special recognition.
Served on weekends only, they're absolutely massive and fall-off-the-bone tender.
Only the finest grass-fed Angus beef is used, and you'll immediately taste the difference.
It's leaner and contains more heart-healthy Omega 3 fats than grain-fed cattle, and has a bigger, bolder beef flavor.
To get your hands on one of these bad boys, try and get there at sunrise.
Any later and you run the risk of a sellout - it happens in a matter of hours sometimes!
If you can't make it on the weekend, rest assured the other menu items are equally mouthwatering.
Build your own BBQ platter, complete with smoked brisket, pulled pork or chicken, beef or chicken fajita meat, sausage, and pork ribs, all sold by the pound.
You'll also find a variety of sandwiches, ranging from brisket to mesquite-smoked pulled chicken and pork.
They're piled high with all the goods, including tangy coleslaw, pickles, BBQ sauce, and more.
Tacos are always a good idea, whether or not it's Tuesday.
Brisket, carnitas, pulled chicken, and cerveza beef are among your options, and you can't go wrong with any of them.
Side dishes include rice and beans, homemade flour tortillas, potato salad, and slaw - the best of the BBQ and Tex-Mex worlds! Visit the restaurant's website or Facebook page to learn more.
