10 Undeniable Habits That No Texan Can Ever Unlearn
We Texans will be the first to admit that we’re a quirky bunch. From our unique traditions to iconic foods that other states just don’t understand, there are quite a few elements that set us apart from the rest of the country. Here are 10 undeniable habits that most Texans exhibit – and we don’t think these will ever change!

We don't even fully understand why we do it, but it must be a good idea because everyone seems to love the pictures

What can we say? Us Texans know good barbecue, and we're willing to drive and stand for as long as it takes to experience it. In our opinion, long lines are a good thing because they have a direct relationship to the quality of the food.

Those Friday Night Lights will always have a special place in our heart. There's truly nothing quite like the camaraderie between fans of a high school team. It's a heartwarming sight to see, that's for sure.

The food, the holidays, the festivals, the mascots...everything is truly bigger in Texas. Some people would argue that that's a bad thing or that our egos are one of those bigger things, but this 3-pound cinnamon roll from Lulu's in San Antonio begs to differ. I've seen few more beautiful things in my life.

I mean, it makes sense. If the chips and salsa aren't good, it stands to reason that the rest of the meal probably won't be too great either.

Our favorite kinds of summer days include some good friends, inner tubes, a radio, and a couple of cold ones. Is it summer yet?

If we can only agree on one thing, it's that Texas weather is just plain weird - especially in the winter. It can go from a frigid Arctic morning to a humid, steamy afternoon before you can blink. We've just learned to come prepared, no matter how weird we might look.

I don't know about y'all, but I have a hard time using the restroom at normal gas stations after going to Buc-ee's. Some of us even hold it until we see the beaver sign because we've become so picky. But can you really blame us? The cleanest bathrooms in the world, tons of delicious food, and wall-to-wall souvenirs all in one place - how could we settle for any less?

Considering Texas is 900 miles across, we don't really care how far away a place is in terms of distance. We just want to know how long it's gonna take us to get there!
Tell us, Texans: what are some habits you simply can’t unlearn because of your upbringing in the Lone Star State? Are any of them listed above? We’d love to hear your input!
