There are many reasons why some restaurants impress us and others provide a lackluster dining experience. Food quality, atmosphere, and service (among other factors) all play a role in whether or not we’ll return. Chicken N Pickle, a relatively new eatery in San Antonio, checks off all three boxes, with not only delicious food but activities to keep the whole family entertained, as well.

Chicken N Pickle opened a San Antonio location in 2020, which is an accomplishment all by itself.
More than just a restaurant, this entertainment complex boasts not only incredible food, but several yard games and plenty of space to kick back and relax, as well.
So why the name "Chicken N Pickle?" If you guessed it hints at a pickle-centric menu, that would be incorrect.
Patrons can also enjoy two bocce ball and four shuffleboard courts, a spacious bar area, yard games like Jenga and Corn Hole, and a game room with ping pong and TV screens for game day.
You can't go wrong with street corn, and this one has all the goods (crema, cilantro, queso fresco, and hot sauce.) Other selections include BBQ beans, sweet potato fries, and a bevy of fresh vegetables cooked in the most delicious ways possible.
From 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, it's brunch time!
Chicken and waffles, breakfast burritos, and lighter fare like acai bowls run the gamut of morning time favorites.
Visit the restaurant’s website or Facebook page for more information, including hours of operation.
