9 Amazing Restaurants Along The Tennessee Coast You Must Try Before You Die
The Tennessee coast – ha. We don’t have much of an oceanic coast, but we sure as heck have some darling spots to eat with our river fronts and lakeside venues. We’re landlocked, but that doesn’t mean we’re missing out on any type of coastline. We just switch it up a little bit. Do you have a favorite spot to eat? Because it may have made our list.
1. Riverview Restaurant and Marina - Ashland City
Located in Ashland City and right on the waterfront of the Cumberland River, and it's known for friendly service and an intimate atmosphere. It's here that you can indulge in some seafood, a fabulous steak or even a comforting pile of toppings on your baked potato. (110 Old River Rd)
2. Blue Moon Waterfront Grille - Nashville
A laid-back eatery situated on the wayside of the Cumberland River, you can enjoy some fried up hot American food or a Sunday brunch at the seasonally operating Blue Moon. Make sure to add it to your spring, 2017 bucket list.
3. The Rudder at Anchor High Marina - Hendersonville
With a nod to traditional bar food and rich with solid service, The Rudder is well-known in the Hendersonville area for their stunning views and comforting menu options. (126 River Road)
4. Riverfront Bar & Grill - Memphis
This place is famed for their Riverside Burger (can we also make a case for these fries?). Located on Beale Street Landing, the fabulous views give way to a gorgeous sunset, only accented by the type of southern meal that sticks to your ribs. Plus, check out their weekly trivia nights!
(251 Riverside Drive)
5. Lakeside Tavern - Knoxville
Sleek decor is accented by the lovely Lakeside Tavern location in Knoxville. You'll feel as if you're hovering over the waterfront as you enjoy a handcrafted cocktail or brunch.
(10911 Concord Park Drive)
7. The Captain's Table - Watauga Lake
We're in love with Watauga Lake, and it makes for a perfect backdrop when you're eating at The Captain's Table. Enjoy delicious steaks, seafood or even their premier fried oysters during seasonal operation from March to October.
(10911 Concord Park Dr)
8. Calhoun's On the River - Knoxville
Yes, it's a chain - but that doesn't mean it isn't fabulous and located right on the riverfront. BBQ and fresh ground burgers are the forte, here - oh, and the view. Duh. (400 Neyland Drive)
9. Cherokee Steak House & Marina - Lebanon
Did you know that Cherokee Steak House has been slinging solid meals since 1958? It's a thing. A BYOB restaurant that specializes in seafood and steaks, it's the perfect menu for a riverfront meal. (450 Cherokee Dock Rd)
Pretty neat places to eat, don’t you think? We’re big fans. Plus,
