8 Mouthwatering International Restaurants In Nashville You Need In Your Life
Here’s the thing: we LOVE a good meat-n-three meal. There’s something decadent about the massive amount of food on one plate, the whole of it straining to hold up meats and mashed potatoes and all sorts of veggies and cornbread. But, as often as we love southern fare, we’re still searching for the best taco or ramen bowl in the city. We think we found ’em, too! So tune in and leave your favorites below in the comments – we can’t wait to try them all!

On Wednesdays, you can snap up a margarita for $2.50 a pop at this Goodlettsville eatery, and we'd highly recommend it. Their guacamole is en pointe and there is also an outdoor patio that's just perfect for balmy spring eating - you don't get a lot of great Mexican fare in our landlocked state, but man this is the good stuff! (233 Long Hollow Pike )

Sitar Indian Restaurant may be best known for their all-you-can-eat lunch buffet, and while you will get the most bang for your buck around noon, we'd recommend it for anytime. The open, colorful atmosphere blends perfectly with their highly spiced comfort dishes. Plus, it's just a hot second from downtown! (116 21st Ave N)

Tucked away on Elliston Place, Samurai Sushi is an unassuming storefront that serves up some of the best sushi in the city. Your meal is prepared quickly and well, and the service is simply above and beyond. Their Asian beers are delicious as well, so plan to be indulgent. (2209 Elliston Place)

Nolensville Pike is known for its ethnic eateries, and the Turkish fare from Istanbul Restaurant is some of the best Mediterranean you'll get this side of the Atlantic. We'd recommend any of their kebabs, and the nice, informal dining area is commonly devoid of TOO many people. That's a five star rating in our book! (2631 Nolensville Pike)

Mas Tacos has earned a cult following for its humble upbringing and delicious, simple taco offerings. You can indulge in pulled pork or fried avocado tacos, or maybe play it safe with their magnificent tortilla soup. Everything is delicious here, just make sure to have time to wait in their line and bring cash - there are no cards accepted. (732 McFerrin Ave)

The newly opened Otaku Ramen has quickly made its way into the hearts of Nashvillian's everywhere. All ingredients are locally sourced, giving the normally full-fledged Japanese dishes a bit of American southern flair. (1104 Division Street)

Located Melrose and situated in a cozy, quirky cottage, The Smiling Elephant has become known for their phenomenal pad thai and other Thai cuisine specialties. The decor is what sets the whole experience apart, though, so make sure to come on in to visit! (2213 8th Ave S)

This upscale Asian eatery is located in East Nashville and has quickly made a name for itself, what with its inventive meals and beautiful restaurant design. You'll be ordering your pick of their Japanese small plates, sushi or their renowned ramen bowls. (1900 Eastland Ave #105)
