7 Unforgettable Attractions In Downtown Nashville You’ll Want To Visit
Nashville hipsters will tell you that downtown is only for the tourists, but whether you’re visiting for the first time or you’re a seasoned local, there’s something downtown for everyone. There’s more than you could ever hope to do in a weekend, but there are some spots downtown that you absolutely have to go in order to say you’ve done downtown right. You’ll have a hard time forgetting the memories you make at these spots.

The Wildhorse is certainly known to be wild. It's known for its absolutely massive dance floor on which they host line dances (and other dancing) until the wee hours of the morning. Make sure you bring your dancing boots!

Hey, we said this list would be unforgettable spots. The Hermitage's men's bathroom has actually won multiple awards (including multiple national "bathroom of the year" awards) for its classic and striking art deco design. It's open for men and women to view, so don't be shy!

Tootsie's is known for its significant history in Nashville's country music scene. It has been a favorite spot for artists looking for their big breaks for years. Willie Nelson and Kris Kristofferson are two people that started here before they were discovered. If you go, you never know who you'll see!

This is definitely one of the more explicitly touristy spots on this list, but it's absolutely worth the trip. They have constantly rotating exhibits, meaning you'll learn more fascinating country music history every time you go.

The pedestrian bridge that spans the Cumberland from Nissan Stadium on the East side to the Schermerhorn on the West side makes for a great walk and an even better way to see the city skyline. Especially at night.

The Ryman is known as "The Mother Church" of country music, and it draws pilgrims from all around the world to its halls. The auditorium that was once the home of the Grand Ole Opry still has frequent concerts and draws some pretty big names. The tour will teach you some of the history and even let you see backstage!

Did you know that the first ever combination candy bars were created here in Tennessee? The Standard Candy Company created the Goo Goo Cluster that then paved the way for more modern confections like the Snickers bar. Check out their shop and factory just off Broadway.
Once you’ve conquered the city center, try out these places the locals keep to themselves.
