The Incredible Restaurant That’s Way Out In The Boonies But So Worth The Drive From Nashville
Nashville has made quite a name for itself on the foodie side of things this last year. Still, every now and then it's nice to leave the hustle and bustle of the city for the sweet smells of the southern countryside. Delta Bound is located in Spring Hill, Tennessee, and it's a great spot to hit up if you're looking to experience the tangy, creamy, delicious flavors of the American south. If you're looking to take a drive, this is the spot you can't miss!
Delta Bound was originally launched on a mobile platform, and was founded by the highly ambitious Thompson Station-based Jess and Stacey Mobley. They dreamt up a simple way to feed the masses: with authentic, Deep South fare. We won't be fighting that, folks.
Their brick-and-mortar space opened in 2015, and has quickly become a neighborhood watering hole. This is where you come hungry and leave happy, where you eat your heart out and nothing is low-calorie or sans cream. Indulgence at its finest can be found in the south.
Although you'll find a few standards on the menu, delicious meals made up of fried catfish tacos aren't too far from the norm. You'll be finding traditional and unique twists on Cajun and Creole soul food, perfectly spiced Texas-style bbq and the best kind of homemade desserts.
All ingredients are bought fresh, too! If possible, they will be locally sourced and used in meals that are created completely and totally by scratch.
Plus, dessert. Can we ever get over a luscious dessert?! We can't choose a favorite, but most folks tend to edge towards a solid piece of cake. Keep in mind - their menus are seasonal, and brunch is served to salivating crowds on Sundays.
We'll be over here dreaming about good food and great hangs with fun people. Visit for yourself at 5075 Main St B4 in Spring Hill, Tennessee.
