It’s Impossible Not To Love Nashville’s Most Charming Italian Cafe
Discover the best hiking trails in the Pacific Northwest, known for their stunning scenic views and diverse landscapes.
Nashville is known for its honkytonk highway and hot chicken restaurants, but man oh man - we have some pretty amazing Italian spots, too. Our favorite? Bella Napoli Pizzeria, tucked away in the Edgehill area. This centrally located Italian restaurant manages to remain well-hidden and authentic, highly trafficked by locals but still wildly attractive to newcomers. We visited ourselves (okay. multiple times...) and fell in love again, every time.
Bella Napoli Pizzeria is known for their authentic Italian fare, wood-fired pizzas and decadent wine selection. Their pizzas and pastas are made from scratch in an attempt to bring the old country to you - without the lengthy flight, of course.
Their indoor space is roomy and quaint, a cozy place to hide away from the rush of the world. The exposed brick adds a touch of chic, making this a great space for a large family dinner or a first date.
Most folks that visit rave about the outdoor patio area, located in a tight but beautiful alleyway and tucked away from the busy road beyond. But if you think it looks perfect on a sunny afternoon?
The whole space becomes insanely romantic once the sun goes down.
The authentic pizzeria is characterized with a domed brick oven, where the pizzas are cooked on the masonry floor. It's 900 degrees inside (!!!), which means that your pizza is cooked to absolute perfection. This Naples-inspired eatery is a Nashville favorite for a reason...just take a look at those pizza pies! A work of art.
If you're not in the mood for pizza, you can always enjoy a delicious plate of pasta. Their gnocchi alla siciliana is a fan favorite, as well as their penne alla vodka and classic spaghetti al pomodoro.
If you're looking for fabulous food but don't have the time to linger over dinner out, you can opt for their DoorDash Delivery or Curbside Pick-Up. It's great if you're looking for great food fast!
Oh, and don't forget to snag dessert - these cannolis look amazing! If you're not in the mood for a cannoli, you can indulge in tiramisu, Nutella pizza, cheesecake or panna cotta. There are MORE than enough options to keep your sweet tooth happy.
You can visit for yourself at 1200 Villa Place in Nashville, Tennessee. Their hours are 11am to 10pm Tuesday through Thursday, 11am to 11pm on Friday and Saturday and 12pm to 10pm on Sundays. They may be closed on Mondays, but that makes the rest of the week extra special. Bon appetit!
