The One Italian Restaurant In Nashville With Pasta As Good As Grandma’s
Italian food is a classic comfort meal here in the United States, great for sweet family evenings and first dates any night of the week. We love it because the meals are heavy and full, served with crusty bread and salted butter, topped off with wine and perhaps a flatbread appetizer. Italy has our hearts, and the newly opened Pastaria in Nashville runs a close second. Check out what makes this gorgeous (really — it’s stunning!) space perfect for date night.

Pastaria newly opened in an airy industrial space in West Nashville, not too far from the vegan restaurant Avo and the St. Louis company, and shares a building with fellow Midwestern native, Sump Coffee.

The stunning space claims that it gives a "fresh approach to Italian dining," operating as a casual restaurant that's perfect for families. The space comes in at just under 4,000 square feet and has a large open kitchen.

Outdoor seating is also quite popular, and Pastaria boasts a bocce ball court out on the patio as well.

If you aren't in the mood for pasta, their authentic Naples-style pizza is great for eating in or taking it to go.

You can see here the toasted spaghetti with clams, garlic, butter and white wine. Noodles are all handmade here in the restaurant, so this is the freshest meal you'll get on this side of the Mississippi.

Soaring ceilings and cheeky decor only serve to elevate the restaurant space. With items like pistachio ravioli and garganelli pasta on the menu, you can't go wrong — add floor to ceiling windows? And you're in for life.

We've heard the risotto balls are amazing as an appetizer and make sure to try out the chili sauce with your bread. And for dessert? The Nutella cake is hands down perfection.

Food is great and good, but Pastaria is making itself known for its kind staff as well. This is where you come to be treated by family, and the management is kind and gracious.

You can visit Pastaria for yourself at 8 City Blvd in West Nashville, Tennessee. Have something yummy for us!
PS: Have you been to the best gyro in Nashville? It’s pretty phenomenal, and a total hole-in-the-wall!
