Mama’s Farmhouse In Tennessee Serves Up Some Of The Best Home Cooking You’ll Find Anywhere In The Country
An all-you-can-eat restaurant that offers the best in down-home Tennessee cooking is a true recipe for a delicious experience. Learn about Mama’s below, not only its menu and on-site offerings but also the award-winning biscuits that you can bring home for yourself.

Mama's Farmhouse serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day of the week, with differing menus served family-style. Every meal begins with buttermilk biscuits and your choice of chicken noodle or veggie soup.
You'll be seated with your group, and every day there are two lunch entrees available and three for dinner. Fried chicken, of course, is served every day, but specials like fried catfish only make an appearance on Fridays.
Meat offerings may change, but they include everything from meatloaf to turkey to country-fried steak. Eight sides are available every day, and your table gets to pick four of them to round out the meal.
What kind of sides, you say? Mashed potatoes and creamed corn and fried okra and macaroni and cheese...sweet potato casserole and coleslaw and chicken and dumplings! There are so many, it's going to be hard to choose.
Mama's Farmhouse also serves a solid dessert classic after every entree, and you can choose one from the list of banana pudding, peach cobbler, and chocolate chip cookies.
Mama's biscuits even won the title at the International Biscuit Festival in 2015. Since most folks don't have time to make their way to the Farmhouse all the time, we'd recommend taking home some of the famous mix to-go. That way, you can whip up an award-winning biscuit from the comfort of your home.
Prices differ depending on the age of the diner and the time of day you're looking to eat, but range from $13.99 to $19.99 for adults, and from $6.99 to $9.99 for children.
Southern cooking just got an upgrade, and we have a feeling once you leave Mama’s Farmhouse you’ll already be planning a return trip. You can stay up to date on the restaurant’s news with a visit to its official website or perhaps even its Facebook page.
If you’re looking for a great spot to get away, might we recommend the tiny town of Jamestown?
