Not only is it one of Wyoming's most underrated ski resorts, but it also happens to be one of the oldest ski hills in the whole state.

White Pine originally opened in January 1940, featuring one of the first cable tows in Wyoming that was powered by a Chevrolet motor.

These days, skiers can get a modern lift up the hill courtesy of two chairlifts, and the lift lines are usually short or non-existent!

The Great Spirit Lift will take you all the way to Summit Peak with an elevation of 9,500.

There are 25 runs on this ski hill, more than enough to keep you busy all day.

Plus, White Pine also has a tubing hill for the non-skiers or just for a change of pace.

What's more, the resort offers lodging right next to the ski hill.
