We Dare You Not To Love An Overnight In This Treehouse In West Virginia
In the little community of Bluewell in Southern West Virginia, there's a campground that's been popular for years with nature enthusiasts and ATV owners. Last year, Buffalo Trail campground did something to make their great campground even better: they built treehouses! There are now 14 treehouses in all, and you can stay in one!
At the Buffalo Trail campground, you can spend the night in a treehouse.
You have the option of a basic or an "ultimate" treehouse.
The basic treehouses come with twin beds and electricity. The ultimate treehouses also have a queen bed, a kitchen, and a bathroom.
If you prefer to stay closer to the ground, there are other cabins and RV hookups.

The campground is named for the herd of buffalo (bison) that live there.
You can watch them from your cabin.
In the cabins, you'll find original artwork that features the buffalo.
There's also a friendly pony who lives on the grounds.
The campground has a restaurant known for serving up delicious food.
It's open Thursday through Saturday, with great options for appetizers, entrees, and desserts... and yes, you can get a buffalo burger.
