There’s A Treehouse Village In Washington Where You Can Spend The Night

When it comes to quiet getaways and escaping everyday life, it's tough to top an overnight stay in a treehouse. TreeHouse Point is a romantic little treehouse village that offers a restful respite and a place to really connect with nature. When you leave this place, you'll have a whole new appreciation for the Pacific Northwest.

You'll find TreeHouse Point in a beautiful forest along the Raging River just outside of Issaquah.

It's easily accessible along the Preston-Fall City Road SE.

This delightful little village is a mere 30 minutes from Seattle, but you'll feel like you're in your own world.

You might not be the only one on the property, but you'll certainly feel like you are at times. The treehouses are spaced out enough to provide plenty of privacy.

Pete and Judy purchased this property in 2004.

Soon after, they decided to take a nighttime walk through its forest. During their stroll, a beam of moonlight illuminated the trunk of a huge old-growth Sitka spruce. Pete took that as a sign, and soon after, he went to work building the property's first treehouse.

From 2006 - 2010, Pete and his crew at their sister company, Nelson Treehouse and Supply, added five more treehouses to the property.

And even though you'll be sleeping in a treehouse in the woods, fear not -- you will have all the comforts of home.

Pete Nelson and his wife, Judy, dreamed of this place together for years before they built it.

Between Pete's love of treehouses and Judy's incredible hosting skills, the idea for a bed and breakfast emerged.

These days, running TreeHouse Point is still a family affair.

Pete and Judy's son Henry is a skilled carpenter, and his twin brother, Charlie, helps out with both this property and their sister property.

TreeHouse Point is more than a place to stay. It's a magical experience.

Come here on a romantic retreat or bring a friend or two to relax. While young children and dogs aren't allowed here for safety and health reasons, you'll love the peace and quiet here.
