Ogden Valley boasts three ski resorts: Snowbasin, Powder Mountain, and Nordic Valley.
All three resorts offer excellent skiing during winter months, but they're also open during the summer...and the fun is just starting!
Snowbasin opens for the summer season on June 9th, and the resort has tons of outdoor activities lined up.
Watch for dining events at the John Paul Lodge, and enjoy Sunday Brunch every week at Needles Lodge.
Take a scenic gondola ride, and enjoy spectacular views of the valley.
You can also ride up the gondola with your mountain bike, then take a trail back to the bottom.
The Blues, Brews & BBQ concerts start June 10th.
This popular festival offers free concerts on Sundays throughout the summer. The music is free; enjoy craft beer and BBQ for reasonable prices.
Snowbasin Resort is located at 3925 E. Snowbasin Road, Huntsville, UT 84317. Visit the resort's website for a full calendar of summer events.
Powder Mountain offers some of the best mountain biking trails in the state.

Hikers will enjoy the scenic vistas found along the trails...
...and this resort is mountain biking heaven, with 11.8 miles of International Mountain Biking Association-designated trails.
No word yet on when Powder Mountain will open its trails for the summer, so you'll want to keep an eye on the resort's website. The resort is located at 6965 E. HWY 158, Eden, UT.
