Step Back In Time With A Stay At Point Pleasant Inn In Rhode Island

Point Pleasant Inn in Bristol offers a historic yet modern stay with numerous amenities and beautiful surroundings.

Life gets hectic for us all, and sometimes enjoying a change of scenery for a weekend is all it takes to reset and recharge. And you don't even have to leave Rhode island to enjoy such a vacation -- in fact, we highly recommend sticking close to home and enjoying our state's gorgeous scenery. Point Pleasant Inn happens to be the perfect place to do that. This beloved property was forced to temporarily close due to current conditions, but as soon as they re-open, they're going to need our support.

Point Pleasant Inn is located in Bristol, surrounded by Bristol Harbor on Narragansett Bay.

This Federal and Colonial style mansion was built in 1940, and it's as magnificent as ever.

Visiting this property truly feels like going back in time.

But don't worry -- everything has been completely renovated, and you'll enjoy all the modern amenities you're used to.

In the summers, guests have access to a pool that overlooks the bay.

The fitness center, billiards, bike rentals, and other amenities are open all year.

The seven guest rooms (which include two suites) are all individually named and decorated.

The majority also have their own bathrooms, other than the Crows Loft and Crows Nest, which share one.

The rooms are both spacious and cozy, not to mention well-stocked with all the comforts of home.

In the evenings, you can head downstairs for some cocktails, wine, and charcuterie. And in the morning, a gourmet freshly prepared breakfast will await you.

The setting for this property is truly exquisite.

We hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you definitely aren't going to want to leave.

Point Pleasant Inn is beautiful in any season, but it's definitely a top destination in the fall as it's surrounded by vibrant foliage.

Your room rate includes all kinds of amenities like the daily gourmet breakfast, evening hors d'oeuvres, and an open bar.
