This Oklahoma Cabin Is Made for Stargazing

And I just found a secluded stargazing cabin in Oklahoma perched on a hilltop with a perfect night sky view to celebrate the occasion. Plus, it even has a telescope!

Isolated enough that you won’t hear any road noise but just a short drive from all the best Broken Bow and Hochatown attractions, Stardust is the best of both worlds. It sleeps two guests and is designed to be a romantic retreat for couples looking to unplug and reconnect with each other.

The layout is modern but cozy, with amenities like a fully stocked kitchen, a walk-in shower, four wall-mounted TVs with Netflix, and a comfy king bed you’ll never want to leave. While the interior is impressive in its own right, the outdoor space sets the cabin apart.

It has not one but two decks. The top deck has a telescope, a fireplace, and lots of patio furniture for a cozy evening of stargazing. Can you spot your favorite constellations? Bring some marshmallows to roast over the fire to make homemade s'mores for an extra nostalgic experience. The lower deck has a hot tub with a wall-mounted TV, so you can enjoy a relaxing soak once you've had your fill of looking up at the stars.

But if you can't book the cabin in time, you can still celebrate with a trip to Black Mesa State Park & Nature Preserve. This remote destination is located in the Oklahoma panhandle, near the Colorado and New Mexico borders. It boasts some of the darkest night skies in the U.S. because it's so far from civilization, offering next-level views of the Milky Way and millions of stars.

Tenkiller State Park also has some incredible night skies if you want something a bit less out of the way.
