This beautiful park encompasses 12,500 acres, centered on Lake Murray. There's so much to see and do here that you're definitely going to want to stay in one of the campgrounds overnight.
With nine different campgrounds, you're certain to find one that suits your needs. Choose from 500 tent sites, some just a few feet from the shoreline.
Most of the campgrounds are surrounded by forest, providing plenty of shade to your site.
Each site includes a tent or RV pad, picnic table, and fire pit.
You can even bring a large RV to the lake. 329 RV sites offer 30 amp or 50 amp electrical. Some sites are pull-in, and a few offer pull-through access.
You might also enjoy sleeping in a cabin built in the 1930s! Lake Murray State Park has 56 cabins, and many of them were built by the Civilian Conservation Corps. The park also has a large lodge with hotel-style rooms that offer all the modern amenities.
This park has so many amenities that you won't know which activity to start with! From fishing and boating to miniature golf, swimming, golfing, and hiking, you'll certainly never get bored.
