It's hard to beat a summer on the lake and one of the best ways to enjoy the water is staying overnight on a houseboat. Lake Eufaula, the largest lake in Oklahoma, has a marina that rents a large houseboat, perfect for a summer adventure to remember.
Unfortunately, since the time of publication, this houseboat is no longer being rented from Evergreen Marina.
Evergreen Marina is located on the eastern side of Lake Eufaula in the town of Stigler. They offer a variety of boat rentals and overnight accommodations.
The biggest boat rental is a 52 foot house boat - Louie - that comes fully furnished like a small house.
You can rent Louie for a minimum of 2 nights and 3 days for around $1,000 or add on more nights at a rate of $300/night.
The boat features a full kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, dishes, blender, toaster, and pots & pans.
...and a dining room table that seats four comfortably.
Eight guests can sleep on the boat and choose from bunkbeds, two queen beds or a sofa sleeper.
Imagine waking up in the morning and looking out the window at the surrounding water and scenery. There is also a full and half bathroom on the boat.
The living area features a comfortable couch with flat screen tv, perfect for watching a movie after the sun has set.
But one of the best parts about the boat is the rooftop deck that's great for sun bathing and relaxing. There's also a slide off the top that will keep the kids busy for hours and hours.
Back at the marina, you can get gas, supplies, drinks, snacks or eat pizza out on the deck. This summer rental is sure to bring lots of laughs, memories, and fun! Make your reservation soon, as the summer months fill up fast.
